Demonstration with Jemma Gowland – Figurative Porcelain – 40th Anniversary of London Potters

As part of the 40th anniversary of London Potters, join Jemma Gowland for a captivating live demonstration titled Figurative Porcelain on 21 March, 12.00–2.00pm.

In this session, Jemma will guide audiences through the processes behind her striking porcelain figurines, sharing insights into her approach to form, surface, and narrative. Through live making, she will reveal how delicate material choices and careful construction come together to create expressive, characterful figures.

This demonstration offers a valuable opportunity to witness skilled craftsmanship in action and to gain a deeper understanding of contemporary figurative porcelain practice—an essential event within the three-day programme of talks and demonstrations celebrating four decades of London Potters.
