Membership
What types of membership are available, and what benefits do they offer?

Membership fees start at £18 for students, £23 for seniors, and £30 for full membership (NEW Fees from 2026).
What is the application process for joining?
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in ceramics, in and outside of London. Sign up by selecting your membership type and following the instructions at: https://londonpotters.com/join-london-potters/
I’m new to pottery – what should I expect?
London Potters is a place to connect and be part of a community. Whether you are a full or part-time maker, have just touched clay for the first time, are a collector, a gallery owner, or simply share our passion for the wonder of clay, we look forward to welcoming you.
How do I renew my membership?
Renewal happens automatically. You will receive an email from us with a reminder, and can stop your membership at any time.
When are membership fees due?
Memberships are annual and renew yearly according to the start date of your membership. Example: 1st of March 2025, renews 1st of March 2026.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all cards valid for online payment.

Are student discounts available for membership?
Yes, membership for students is £18 per year.
Are senior discounts available for membership?
Yes, we have senior concessions. Annual cost for seniors is £23.

I can’t find my membership number
You don’t need a membership number, you can simply use your username as your reference.
How do I change my postal address or contact details?

Events, Exhibitions and Activities

When can I apply for the Annual Member Exhibition?
The application process opens in summer each year. We inform our members via newsletter.
How many exhibitions does the group organize for members?
We have the annual exhibition in autumn/winter each year, which in recent years has been held at the Morley Gallery. We also offer other opportunities to sell and show during the year. We inform our members via newsletter, and in the Members Hub.
What other selling opportunities are available besides exhibitions?
We work and collaborate with other organisations. We inform our members via newsletter and in the Members Hub. Collaborations include: Canopy Market in King X, HandMade Chelsea, amongst the others.
Can non-members attend events?
We have some events/workshops for non-members. Exhibitions are open to the public and wider audience. Workshops offer two prices for members and non-members if space and availability.
How do I find out about upcoming events?
We send regular newsletters and ad hoc communications via email. You can also check for upcoming event information on our Events page: https://londonpotters.com/events/
When and where are social gatherings held?
We run social gatherings on a periodic basis. Information is sent in advance to members via email.
Are tickets for events refundable, and if so, under what conditions?

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Tickets are non-transferrable, but if you have an issue, please reach out to our event team at events@londonpotters.com
Do you offer classes or workshops?
We are not a pottery studio but an association for potters. We offer regular workshops and pottery-related events via the website and our newsletter. We publish a document called “Where to Pot,” available in our Resource Center with a list of pottery studios, colleges, and other places to practice pottery. https://londonpotters.com/resource-center/
