New Honorary President and Honorary Ambassadors for London Potters
We are delighted to share two pieces of exciting news.
First, we are thrilled to welcome Stuart Carey as the new Honorary President of London Potters. Stuart is a Royal College of Art graduate, co-founder of The Kiln Rooms in London, associate lecturer at Central St Martins, a senior consultant on Channel 4’s The Great Pottery Throw Down, and author of From Clay to Kiln. We are honoured to have him bring his passion for ceramics and his commitment to the craft community to London Potters.
Second, we are equally delighted to announce that Richard Miller has joined Kate Malone MBE as an Honorary Ambassador for London Potters. Richard has served as our Honorary President for many years with great generosity — attending exhibitions, judging members’ work, giving talks and demonstrations, and bringing his warmth and expertise to everything he did. We are so glad he continues his connection with the organisation in this new role.
Kate Malone MBE, our first Honorary Ambassador, has been an outstanding advocate for London Potters since the role was created — championing our work and inspiring our members. We are delighted that Richard joins her.
Together, Stuart, Kate and Richard represent the very best of what London Potters stands for: craft, community, and a deep commitment to ceramics in London and beyond.
