Path and Inspiration
Rooted in personal experience and shaped by family dynamics, memory, and a previous career in fashion editorial where visual storytelling was at the core, my practice has shifted from the page to clay. My vessels explore human fragility through torn rims that echo emotional, physical, and mental scars, while their forms suggest containment and security. Graduate from the City Lit Ceramics Diploma, I use form, surface, and detail to invite connection and reflection on shared histories.Process and Practice
Working with wheel-thrown porcelain and stoneware, I explore the human condition through form, surface, and space. Torn rims, scored marks, and contrasting glazes suggest lived histories, while negative space and groupings examine relationships between pieces, whether as families, groups or individuals. Through glazes and oxides, I create surface contrasts reflecting how what’s visible on the outside often conceals what lies within.
