Path and Inspiration
I am a ceramicist working with Raku and Saga Fire techniques from my studio in South East London. A lifelong passion for ceramics has driven my creative journey. After graduating from Camberwell College of Art, I gained valuable experience in both education and business. Inspired by the rugged beauty of Australia and New Zealand my recent work explores the textures and colours of the natural landscape.Process and Practice
I construct each piece by hand, building them up using the coiling technique. The necks are crafted from slabs of clay, pressed into moulds that I've created. These unique necks reference both the natural world, with their charred tree-like forms, and the built environment, with their architectural lines.
