Path and Inspiration

Charlotte is a studio potter based in London and a member of The CPA and London Potters.Growing up in New Zealand, her connection to nature and organic forms began early on with a love of painting, poetry and performance at the heart of her life for many years. Her life took a new direction moving back to London in 2018 after a successful career in nursing; back to her love of design and in 2020 she took an intensive course to learn the fundamentals of working with clay and fell in love.

Process and Practice

Charlotte works in several different stoneware clay bodies, using a range of techniques to create handsomely proportioned forms with subtle surfaces that nurture a feeling of serenity.
