Path and Inspiration
Inspiration taken from the natural world . Drawn to the rawness of nature , my ceramic pieces have the feeling of something that was buried and then discovered.Process and Practice
I work from my home studio taking the opportunity to do ceramic classes , especially in Raku .
Hand building my ceramic pieces , starting with a pinch pot then coiling .
I often start with a vague idea of my final piece but allow the clay to evolve , embracing the slightly off kilter tendency of clay and the way it wants to behave .
