Path and Inspiration
My practice explores the relationship between spontaneity and observation, drawing inspiration from natural forms and processes.Process and Practice
I create tableware and vessel pieces primarily using black Vulcan clay, combining hand-building techniques such as coiling, pinching, and moulding with altered wheel-thrown forms. This approach allows each piece to evolve intuitively while retaining a sense of structure and balance.
Surface texture and pattern play a central role in the work. Through relief and repetition, I echo rhythms found in nature, encouraging tactile engagement with the piece
