Path and Inspiration
I am a Brazilian self-taught ceramic artist whose creative journey spans photography, culinary arts, and bread making.Although I first encountered ceramics in high school, I have only recently embraced it fully.Since joining Studio Pottery London, it became a daily ritual. My work explores contrasts in clay, form, and colour, guided by intuition and the organic nature of the clay.Process and Practice
My work is diverse and exploratory, moving between contrasting styles, clays, and glazes. I create large pieces in rough black clay that evoke ancient vessels, while also exploring delicate forms with soft shapes and vibrant colours. What unites these approaches is an organic sensibility. I shift from black to white clay, raw to refined, guided by intuition. Art inspires me, but the material itself remains my greatest source — clay speaks, and I follow.
