Path and Inspiration
Born and raised in Italy, I draw inspiration from the vivid imagery of my upbringing—memories that now live as internal landscapes, shaping the contours of my sculptures. These visions guide my hands as I explore the tension between clay’s muscular strength and its delicate vulnerability.Process and Practice
My work is rooted in hand-built forms, each piece emerging slowly and intuitively, shaped entirely by touch. Working solely with my hands allows me to control every detail and remain intimately connected to the material throughout the process. I primarily work with stoneware, drawn to its durability and sense of permanence. The surfaces of my vessels and sculptures are rich with texture—glazed, pitted, and layered with raw oxides—each firing adding depth and unpredictability.
