Path and Inspiration
I am a ceramicist based in Kent, surrounded by lovely countryside. My lifelong passion of ceramics took me on a path to solidify my knowledge and skills alongside a full time professional career. My inspiration stems from the rich cultural influences of my ancestry in central Europe. I hold certificates in City and Guilds Creative Design, Full time Ceramics Course at Forest Row School of Ceramics, and am currently completing the BTEC Higher National Certificate in Ceramic Design.Process and Practice
My current work is thrown porcelain with layered surface decoration. The design is brushed on or applied as monoprints, screenprints and added texture. I strive to build a narrative with colourful composite imagery. My pieces are high fired with a transparent glaze to give a smooth finish.
