Path and Inspiration
I am a ceramicist based in Kent, surrounded by lovely countryside. My lifelong passion of ceramics took me on a path to solidify my knowledge and skills alongside a full time professional career. My inspiration stems from the rich cultural influences of my ancestry in central Europe. I hold certificates in City and Guilds Creative Design, Full time Ceramics Course at Forest Row School of Ceramics, and the Higher National Certificate in Ceramic Design.Process and Practice
My passion is layered surface decoration. I strive to build a narrative with colourful composite imagery using different techniques. I have been using mostly porcelain slip based methods in my functional range, but also continue experimenting on further ways of expression with different clay bodies and finishes.
