Path and Inspiration
Zelide’s work explores rhythms through creating and applying repetitive pattern. Inspirations include tribal patterns and forms, all things spiky such as cacti, sea urchins, puffer fish to name a few. She’s particularly fascinated with the spiral patterns that form throughout the natural world.Process and Practice
Works are wheel thrown or slip cast in white stoneware; decorated with coloured slip using the slip trailing method of application.
