100 ceramic artists in an anonymous exhibition with a set price of £650 each. This is open to all visitors to view and purchase, at Sotherby’s.
This is one of the initiative by our Hon. Ambassador Kate Malone MBE co-founder and artist ambassador of FiredUp4.
London Potters is proud to support FiredUp4 on a regular basis, contributing through a number of activities that help sustain and amplify the charity’s mission.
FiredUp4 is a charity that opens the door to creativity for young people. This May, during London Craft Week, FiredUp4 and London Craft Week present two ceramic charity sales at Sotheby’s London in support of FiredUp4 Clay Clubs. These clubs offer young people a hands‑on, screen‑free opportunity to explore their creativity, find focus, and discover themselves. FiredUp4 works in partnership with OnSide, a network of state‑of‑the‑art youth centres built in some of the UK’s most economically disadvantaged areas.
Returning for its third year, the Secret Ceramics fixed‑price anonymous sale brings together 100 ceramic works by both established makers and emerging talent, each available for £650. Visitors are invited to guess the artist or simply choose the piece that speaks to them from a room full of exceptional ceramic creativity. The artist’s identity is revealed only upon purchase, adding an element of surprise and discovery to the experience.
